AI Act Basic Training: Kick-off Workshop at IQZ Kaiserslautern

We are very excited about our upcoming first event at the Innovation and Quality Center (IQZ) Kaiserslautern!

In partnership with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and the appliedAI Institute for Europe, we invite you to our AI Act Basic Training workshop on October 10, 2024.

On this day, startups and SMEs will have the opportunity to engage deeply with the regulatory requirements of the AI Act and develop practical solutions. Our workshop will help teams address these challenges successfully. It will provide fundamental knowledge on AI regulation and risk classification to best prepare companies for their compliance journey.

To wrap up the event, we are pleased to invite you to a relaxed networking session with snacks and drinks.

Wissing opens AI center in Kaiserslautern

On Friday, July 19, 2024, Federal Minister of Digital Affairs Dr. Volker Wissing and Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Economic Affairs Daniela Schmitt opened a new Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern. The AI Innovation and Quality Center is part of the “MISSION KI” initiative and the first of two planned centers in Germany with which the federal government is promoting the use of trustworthy AI.
